Discover Tuscany with a cooking lesson
In the luxury of your vacation villa rental or apartment, our Discover Tuscany chef will come prepare with ingredients and recipes to show you how to create an authentic Tuscan meal in an afternoon Tuscan cooking lesson.

As would any good Tuscan chef his menu
depends on what's fresh in season – you might find fried zucchini flowers, stuffed artichokes or the famous Tuscan tomato soup with bread. Each lesson is comprised of:
antipasto (Italian pre-meal munchies)
primo (pasta)
secondo e contorno (main course with seasonal veggies)
dolce (dessert with coffee,...of course)
Our personal Discover Tuscany Chef
has been tantalizing guests with recipes from this area for has long as he can remember, cooking is a true passion – and one that he combines well with his solar and joyous personality. He takes his time to pick recipes that you can re-use at home and is especially aware of choosing the freshest ingredients from local producers in order to help you recreate a pieces of Tuscany in your cooking lesson.
Hands on cooking lessons
should be fun - that is our Discover Tuscany motto. You will find that our chef loves to see everyone participate and join in on the fun...even if you prefer to just sip wine.
Each meal will offer ample possibility for every member to get their hands dirty while listening to stories about the food, the recipes and the Tuscans who made these recipes famous.
Learning to cook Tuscan style is more than knowing the right ingredients, it is understanding why they use garlic instead of onions in one recipe and why they prefer rosemary to sage in another...all this is part of the curriculum in our lesson.

The final part of the lessonincludes sitting down to a friendly table and enjoying the fruits of your time in the kitchen. The lesson itself starts in the early afternoon - to be arranged with each group individually - around 4 pm and ends with dinner being placed on the table around 8 pm. The chef is there the entire time to guide you through each step of every plate, and will incorporate any special dishes upon request.

Discover Tuscany Cooking Lessons
Our Discover Tuscany chef comes to your home for a lesson in Tuscan cooking, the end product becomes a delicious dinner. Lessons are for up to 10 persons. We can arrange for larger groups upon request. All prices are per person for destinations within 60 km of Florence, other areas will have a small travel expense per group. This price includes service, food and house wine...Tuscan of course. You may add wine from our Discover Tuscany Selection and pay per bottiglia.
