Take a ferry over to one of the largest
Tuscan Islands - where nature has truly blessed this island with a diverse wildlife and fauna. one of the more famous sites is, Portoferraio, which was founded in 1548 by Cosimo I. It is the island’s largest settlement, the port and its capital. Two large fortresses guard the entrance to the island. Built by the Medici rulers, Forte Falcone is to the west and Forte Stella is in the east.
Itinerary:
The itinerary varies according to the interests and capabilities of the group - we can enter into the wildlife and hills of ELba for spectacular views and rugged conditions or along the coast and enjoy the water and small towns.

The tour is beginner to medium level. The tour can vary in difficulty becoming more challenging depending on the experience of all members, please make enquires directly with Discover Tuscany.

Price for Hiking/trekking Tour at Elba Island
Groups larger than 15 persons will be priced individually according to the number of persons. If you have special needs or requirements please advise immediately at time of booking. All prices are per person for destinations within 60 km of Florence, other areas will have a small travel expense per group.
